If you are not eligible for the "Open Registration" period then you must register by the date listed on the registration letter you receive from the qualifying event where you qualified for the Junior World.

What is the Player History Form? Am I required to submit it with my registration?
The Player History Form is required for all players to submit if they are eligible for the selection process. The form allows the committee to review each player and make a decision on their entry status.

If you qualify through a designated qualifier and earn an exemption, to the Junior World, then you are NOT required to submit the Player History Form.

Do I have to register in person at Torrey Pines on Saturday, July 6th or Sunday, July 7th?
Yes. The tournament requires this to confirm that registered players are in town and ready to play. Travel delays will happen unfortunately, so this gives the committee the ability to pull another player off the waiting list if needed.

Do I have to come both Saturday and Sunday?
No. You can pick the day that works best for you. Typically Saturday is a lighter registration day as many players plan to register on Sunday afternoon and stay for the Opening Ceremony.

Do I have to register for the Junior World Putting Championship?
No. You are already eligible to particpate as a registered player in the tournament. Simply head to the putting green, after you register, and participate. One attempt per player.

Are caddies permitted during the tournament?
Only the 10-Under Division players are permitted to have a caddie during the tournament.

Players in all divisions may use the support of a caddie during the official practice round.

When will we receive the pairings for the tournament?
The pairings for the first two rounds of the tournament will be posted at 9:00am on Saturday, July 6th at www.juniorworldgolf.com. Each player will recive a copy of the pairings when they register on Saturday or Sunday at Torrey Pines.

What is the "Pin Exchange" ?
The pin exchange is a little something fun for the players to do during the registration weekend and at the end of their tournament rounds. Players bring small lapel pins that represent the country, state or city where they live and exchange them with the other players they meet. It is not mandatory to participate but the players do enjoy the exchange, especially the younger players. We recommend bringing 10-25 pins if you are interested in participating.
